So, you're saying those same people would have left if Norton had been winning, just to avoid a little traffic? I don't buy that. Sure, a few people meander on out -- but 1/2 to 2/3 of the fans? I don't think so.

I was sitting down below a Clintwood fan who repeatedly yelled obscenities out to the refs and continued to do so when Coleman was injured down near the endzone. I don't think you can classify one group of people when there are clearly fools on both sides.

If anyone thinks I'm making it up just to balance things out, I captured the footage and you can hear the loud-mouth on almost every play, shouting out something new or repeating the same thing over and over again, with the most annoying voice you've ever heard in your life. He sounded like the Cajun guy from The Waterboy, if that's any indication as to just how bad it was. He was located at the very top of the bleachers at the 35-40 yard line closest to the hillside.

And I could here fans saying crap to the refs, calling them idiots etc. I'm sorry, but when a player is down, you behave yourself, and if it's one of your own, that is even more of a reason to keep your mouth shut. I know that no one likes to lose, but that kind of behavior is inexcusable. </div></div>

typical norton fans......they have no class.</div></div>

Yeah it was on both sides, but everyone knows that a team is not supposed to go to the sideline during and injury time out and discuss stuff that is what team timeouts are for coach adams knows that.

During an injury time out, the coach isn't supposed to have his team come to the sidelines to be coached up...so the refs did the right thing.

    Re: About the Norton fans

Everyone has some bad fans. I know when we played norton i got a little out of line a few times. Sometimes u just get a little to in the game. You just have to overlook the bad fans. I too was disappointed with the amount of norton fans that left as well. There are always a few that leave but when i looked over with about 5 mins to go about 2/3 of their fans had left.

Like I said, we all have a few fans we're not particularly proud of. I think know the guy you're talking about, although he's usually over on the fence line near the endzone. It's unfortunate when fans act that way, but I think in Clintwood folks like that are the exception, not the rule.

A third of the Wave fans that go to the game couldn't tell you what the final score was. A social activity nowadays.
